I love good branding.
I love brands doing good in the world.
But...
...the two don’t always go together.
Often, an amazing mission/purpose/vision is let down by lacklustre branding.
When branding is ‘off’ (inconsistent, misaligned, forgettable), the brand’s journey will be bumpy at best.
At worst, it will be short-lived.
Many ignore this, hoping their mission will be enough.
Branding gets left behind.
And, slowly but surely, so does the audience.
